Set things up the first time

Before you start

You need an account to use Be Recruitable Daily. After you sign up or sign in, you land on Onboarding, which is the one-time setup that unlocks the rest of the app: weekly check-ins, coach outreach, and your recruiting profile.

What onboarding asks for

1. Your basic profile: name, sport, grade level, and graduation year.
2. Your date of birth. This is required before you can submit a check-in or draft coach outreach — it drives age-based protections, including whether a parent or guardian needs to approve outreach messages before they go out.
3. Your college targets, using the target picker (you can clear and redo the list any time).
4. A prompt to turn on push notifications for check-in reminders. You can decline (Not now) or turn them off again later from Push Status.

Save and finish later

Every onboarding screen has a Save and finish later button. Nothing you enter is lost — coming back to the app resumes exactly where you left off, and you'll be routed back to Onboarding automatically until it's complete.
